Wow I didn't realise it would be so hard to get moving again after this event..I can't tell if it is the brain or body that is willing or not.
I have booked a ride with some girlfriends tomorrow morning just to get my lazy butt out of the bed. Then I have the usual Saturday ride (which Coach Crealy says now that I have ridden with the fast group once I have to keep doing... aaarrrrrrggggggghhhhh).
I furthermore promise to put the running shoes on again next Monday.

That Coach Crealy is a slave driver..............but look at her results ! Can't argue with those.
ReplyDeleteI think it is even tougher getting going AFTER a race than it is preparing for one, so good on you again for pushing through.

Mum and Suzi have just started making me go walking at 6am. It is dark. It is cold. And sane people are snuggled in their beds at this hour instead of lumbering around the block like we are.

ReplyDeleteThere is no easy cure to the getting out of bed.. I am finding it very, very hard.. as at the mo it is dark, cold and often raining. I have found it easier to get up knowing I am training for a reason.. My brain likes to do things for a reason otherwise bed is the reason.. IE I must train and be very fit to compete as an individual in the next half ironman or I wont be able to finish.. xoxoxoxox
