I love the world when Aaron comes home... Love the rose coloured glasses.

Got home after work yesterday to discover the girls had netball training and we had nothing for dinner.. So after dropping them off I set off to get something healthy for dinner. So chicken breast and salad it was.. I rubbed seeded mustard on the chicken and then cooked in a non stick pan... yummo.

I was talking to one of the Mum's at netball who after hearing about Sarah's efforts said I should a) do the half ironman in Busselton next year and b) do the entire triathlon season next year... because it would be fun. Hehehehe... Just like having your legs waxed with candle wax would be fun... I did inform her that I would be doing the Womens triathlon and then assessing any future sporting achievements from there.

So after dinner and dishes, I jumped onto the bike (the walk just didn't happen yesterday) and did half an hour. With a quick set of abs.

Our little family of 5 are heading to the farm (350 acres of trees, hills and streams) for the weekend tomorrow so will be doing lots of hiking and chasing kids on motorbikes and the like. So if nothing else, confessions on Tuesday will have a few laughs... Hope you all enjoy your Easter and eat far too many eggs. xxxx

  1. Dear Junkie,
My training today is serious. I am not out of my PJ's yet and don't plan on being out of them till much later in the day. When, I might go for a little walk, but of course I might go for a little LLD before hand.

Have fun Rachelly, chase those kid, do a run for me, I am sampling Lenny's very serious Gin and Tonics.

    Cheers, happy Easter,

    Mum

  2. Dearest Rachelly,
I have bought the training shoes. Took Anja to see Nanny McPhee yesterday and walked home from the movies in the new sneakers, 3 klms....sore bunions....ouch.
Ate too much of everything on Easter Sunday....very yum ! Had a great day with The Aunt, The Uncle and The Cousins.
Up this morning, lots of water and back to "sane eating", Anja, (my new personal trainer) has said she does not think I should train on my travel days, but I should train the rest. Slave Driver ! Today is a travel day, and this comes to you from Adelaide Airport. Wearing the new sneaks, wearing them in. I plan on a 4 klm walk this afternoon.
No alcohol, Anja says. Shame really Lenny's G&T's are brilliant !
Bought a couple of triathalon mags at the airport for info and inspiration. And would you believe, my boss is talking about the resistence elastic rope thingy's. That Keith is a very smart cookie.
    Love My Beautiful Girl,
