I love the world when Aaron comes home... Love the rose coloured glasses.
Got home after work yesterday to discover the girls had netball training and we had nothing for dinner.. So after dropping them off I set off to get something healthy for dinner. So chicken breast and salad it was.. I rubbed seeded mustard on the chicken and then cooked in a non stick pan... yummo.
I was talking to one of the Mum's at netball who after hearing about Sarah's efforts said I should a) do the half ironman in Busselton next year and b) do the entire triathlon season next year... because it would be fun. Hehehehe... Just like having your legs waxed with candle wax would be fun... I did inform her that I would be doing the Womens triathlon and then assessing any future sporting achievements from there.
So after dinner and dishes, I jumped onto the bike (the walk just didn't happen yesterday) and did half an hour. With a quick set of abs.
Our little family of 5 are heading to the farm (350 acres of trees, hills and streams) for the weekend tomorrow so will be doing lots of hiking and chasing kids on motorbikes and the like. So if nothing else, confessions on Tuesday will have a few laughs... Hope you all enjoy your Easter and eat far too many eggs. xxxx

31.03.10
Well I have returned home after the Port Macquarie Ironman all inspired, motivated and quite frankly champing at the bit to get back into training. I have approx 7 months until the Womens Triathlon. I have a goal of bettering my last time by 6 minutes. So here it is I need to complete
200m Swim
10km Bike Ride
2km Run
Time completed in November 2007 54.45. My friend Sarah completed the Tri with me in a time of 48.45. So the goal this time is to better Sarahs time. Sarah has just completed the Port Macquarie Ironman and I am so proud of her.
Today is the first official day of training. I have started fairly slowly as it has been a little while since doing any training. So up at 5.30am and onto the exercise bike. Now the little computer says that I did 10kms.. but I find it hard to believe because it only took me about 20mins.. then onto some abs as we need to also toughen up the core muscles. Aaron is home tonight so I would like to head out for a walk tonight hopefully will make the 6km loop.
My aim is to do some form of training 6 days a week and document my training here daily to help keep my focussed and all those supporting me to this end result to follow along.
Daily Quote: I am fit and strong I can do this all day long...
